2017年，36氪推出了「36Under36」（36位36岁以下了不起的投资人、创业者）系列名册，截至目前这是国内创投市场面向年轻创投最具影响力和品牌价值的评选之一。在2022年，“36Under36”系列名册扩容至360人，截至目前，已总共收纳516 位创业者，144 位投资人，已然是一份颇具时代症候意义的商界“清明上河图”。而对应“36氪中国投资人未来峰会”的“最受创业者欢迎投资人”系列名册，几经迭代，也已拥有不错的市场认可度。
2023年，36氪宣告推出最新峰会IP：「WAVES」。WAVES大会通过创新峰会、行业论坛和名册发布活动，结合地摊集市、创投沙龙、乐队演奏、草坪露营等等创意版块，致力于为年轻一代创业者、投资人以及有兴趣和年轻人玩在一起的商界“大佬们”，提供一个开放、轻松且有价值的社交场景。
字面上来理解，Waves是浪潮的意思。这个灵感源于法国新浪潮电影运动，象征着年轻一代不满足于现状、勇敢开拓和创造的精神。与传统商业峰会相比，我们希望「WAVES」会有所不同：它是一个集聚了创投、科技、人文、音乐多元场景。
